The Vision
We want to give every student in Boston the chance to hear the gospel while they're students. We think that if that was happening - if each of the 300,000 students here could make a decision about Jesus Christ; if they could see the transformational community that the gospel brings lived out; students lives would be radically affected for not just the next sixty years, but for eternity. It would not only change individual students lives... it would change the World.
The History
In 1990, Campus Crusade for Christ had movements on 4 of the 45 campuses in Boston. At that point we made a strategic decision to radically change the way we were doing ministry - to empower more students to do evangelism. We have expanded from those five campuses to have active ministries on 20 of the 45 schools here in the city.

If we were reaching every student in Boston with the Gospel, building transformational communities of Grace and Truth across the city, and training the future leaders of the world, it would not onlyh change lives, it would truly change the whole spirit and mind of the university.
The Challenge
We've had some great successes, but we're nowhere near the point where every student in Boston hears the gospel. Why not? At this point, it's very much a numbers game - there are not enough Christ-centered laborers - not enough people coming into relationship with Christ, not enough Christians living spirit-filled life that overflows into evangelism, and not enough full time gospel workers in Boston. We want every student on every campus in Boston to see a vibrant Christian live out the gospel so that everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus Christ.
