13. Identity in Christ

- Fold a sheet of paper in half. In the top portion, brainstorm a list of ways people (including yourself) might think of who you are, your identity. Ask yourself: What are some distinct markers of my identity that are important to me and others? You may wish to consider some of the expectations and behaviors that associate with these markers. On the bottom half of the sheet, prayerfully reflect (in writing) on an area of your life where you feel particularly frustrated in your Christian identity.

- Discuss what you learned with an Equipping Partner.
- Position in Christ
- Read Cru.Comm article “Position in Christ” writing out your answers to the questions in the Student Notes (https://staff.campuscrusadeforchrist.com/cms/content/00000085989.pdf), and then read through the material in the Leader’s Guide (https://staff.campuscrusadeforchrist.com/cms/content/00000085990.pdf). (You may need to get these articles from the Wilson House or have your staff coach email them to you.)
- Memorize Colossians 3:1-11.
- Recite the text for an Equipping Partner and share what was most meaningful to you in your reflection.
