20. Leading into the Scripture

- RealLife Plus Seminar
- Attend RealLife Plus Seminar.
- Complete instructor's workout.
- Discuss with an Equipping Partner.
- Evangelism Training
- Participate in Big Break over Spring Break or a CCC Summer Project.
- Write out four transitional questions (in your own words) that you can use to lead someone into a conversation about Christ.
- Memorize them.
- Draw from the list in two conversations with different non-Christians with whom you are able to share the gospel.
- Debrief with your Equipping Partner.
- Book Review
- Read Out of the Salt Shaker and Into the World: Evangelism as a Way of Life by Rebecca Manley Pippert or Finding Common Ground by Tim Downs.
- Complete a book review.
- Share the gospel in three natural conversations with non-Christians.
- Discuss the experiences and your Book Review with an Equipping Partner.
- Follow-Up Study
- Read NLTC: “How to Present the Four Spiritual Laws II†(Basic), and the Godsquad articles: “Building Bridges†, and “Making the Issue Clearâ€.
- Borrowing at least five ideas from these three sources, type out a list of ten questions or transitional interchanges (in your own words) that you can use to start a spiritual conversation.
- Memorize four of them.
- Practice them in a role-play with an Equipping Partner.
- Arrange to be in a social setting with your Equipping Partner and one or more non-Christians (hanging out in the cafeteria, a dorm, the gym, a lounge…). Use one of your four transitional questions, and share the Would You Like to Know God Personally? booklet (or Life@Large) with the person(s).
- Use a question and share the booklet a second time in another conversation on your own. Discuss the experiences with your Equipping Partner.
