- Read Transferable Concept #7: How to Help Fulfill the Great Commission and write out answers to the questions at the end.
- Study the resources for a media campaign capable of exposing large numbers of students to the gospel on the Godsquad and at Every Student’s Choice.
- Write a one-page proposal for an evangelistic media campaign that would expose every student at your school with a message that raises the profile of Jesus Christ on campus and offers a convenient pathway to explore the gospel. Sketch each phase of the campaign including whatever might be needed (planning, prayer, equipping, posters, advertising, press releases, letters to the paper, article distribution, internet, web, follow-up discussions, funding…).
- Share the plan with your Life Group integrating its ideas and dividing responsibilities. [Note: Steps 3 & 4 may be combined for the benefit of any in the Life Group who are also completing this Leadership Development workout.]
- Implement the plan with your Life Group.
- Evaluate as a Life Group and with an Equipping Partner.
- Evangelism Training
- Go on a Campus Crusade for Christ International Summer Project.
- Back on campus lead a Life Group through the process of writing and implementing a one-page proposal for an evangelistic outreach designed to expose a large (200-500 student) living cluster with the gospel. Discuss the experience with an Equipping Partner.
